RETENTION & DETENTION PONDS
Retention pond, detention pond, whats the difference? The easiest way I found to remember is that retention ponds retain the water indefinitely, detention ponds only detain the water temporarily. Detention ponds are sometimes called dry ponds. RAIN WATER HARVESTING POND
Similar to a detention pond, these ponds will slow down the water. However, these ponds are built with the purpose of recharging the water table and improving soil quality. We will dig trenches and berms along the contour lines with a very low degree of slope to create a detention area and pathway for the rain water on your property. We will also plant the berm with native vegetation suitable to your sunlight and soil conditions.
KOI PONDS & WATER GARDENS
We offer custom ponds built to suit in your preferred locations. All of our ponds are built with a 45mil EPDM liner on top of a geotextile underlayment and a sand base. This method will ensure years of enjoyment with no maintenance on the liner. RECREATIONAL POND OPTIONS
6' Round
Our most cost effective option. This pond measures 6' in diameter with a depth of 18". It has a total volume of 317 gallons. This pond comes with a submersible debris handling pump, waterfall discharge, and small filtration system, sand base, geotextile underlayment, 45 Mill EPDM liner, stone inner base, and stone coping.
6' Square
A step up from the round, this pond offers more volume, without taking up a ton more space. It measures 6' x 6' square with a depth of 18" and total volume of 403 gallons. This pond comes with a submersible debris handling pump, waterfall discharge, and small filtration system, sand base, geotextile underlayment, 45 Mill EPDM liner, stone inner base, and stone coping.
10' Round
A sizeable step up from the 6' square is our 10' round. This pond measures 10' in diameter with a depth of 18". It has a total volume of 883 gallons. This pond comes with a submersible debris handling pump, waterfall discharge, and small filtration system, sand base, geotextile underlayment, 45 Mill EPDM liner, stone inner base, and stone coping.
10' Square
At a little over 1100 Gallons, this is our biggest standard option available. If you want larger, give us a call for a quote. It measures 10' x 10' square with a depth of 18". This pond comes with a non submersible pump, high pressure filter with clean out and discharge lines, waterfall discharge, sand base, geotextile underlayment, 45 Mill EPDM liner, stone inner base, and stone coping.
